Shanghai Sightseeing Bus Tours Start Operations

On October 1st, Shanghai Chunqiu (Spring & Autumn) Travel Agency opened 2 sightseeing lines via double decked buses for touring the city of Shanghai. The two lines both start out at the Urban Planning Museum. Line one’s bus route includes several major attractions on the west of the Bund, including Nanjing East Rd Walkway, Waibaidu Bridge, Yuyuan Garden, Xintiandi, and Shanghai Museum. Line two passes by the Oriental Pearl TV Tower and Jinmao Tower on the east of the Bund.

Passengers can choose 8 different languages (including Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, German) on headphones of tour guide information regarding each attraction as they're passed on the bus.

Fares for adults on the sightseeing bus are 30 RMB/person; each adult is able to have a child 1.4 m or smaller with them on board the bus for free. Tickets are good for 24 hours after they used for the first time and passengers can choose to get off and board the buses at whichever station they choose within the time limit
