Starting March 9th, Shanghai Pudong and Hongqiao airports are to start use of a uniform number for checking flight information: 96990. The former hotline for checking flight information with Hongqiao Airport 52604620 will no longer be available for use. Passengers can dial 96990 for information about passenger flights in and out of both Pudong and Hongqiao airports and order text messages about same-day flight information. To have text messages sent to your mobile about same-day flights, just send a request text message with the flight number you're seeking information about to 02123330999 (0.1 RMB per text request).
