Shanghai Man Stabs Two Foreigners

At 14:45 on September 16, at the intersection of Sichuan Bei Lu and Wujin Lu, a Shanghainese man, whom authorities claimed is mentally ill, attacked two foreigners with a knife, wounding both. According to reports, both stabbing victims are employees of foreign companies in Shanghai. The wounds inflicted were not especially serious, with one requiring only cleaning and the other requiring stitches and observation. The attacker was sent to a mental health center for treatment.
