Recently, a commercially designed haunted house called “Guiyu Guiwu” (Ghost Realm, Haunted House) that boasted being the first haunted house featuring a dramatic experience of a haunting in all of China, has opened for business on Kangding Rd of Jing'an district in Shanghai. A large number of visitors had clamored to experience the haunted house on its grand opening day – which had then caused the owner to have to shut the facility down for maintenance for the next two days. It is said that the facility will re-open soon if there are no more accidents.
