Starting in mid-March, after fifteen years of constant service, the Shanghai Grand Theatre will be closing for repairs for the next seven months. But before that happens, to thank the public for its support, the theatre will host an “open house” from March 4-13, during which time, you can visit the venue and have a look around at the architectural design, sculptures, paintings, as well as learn some of the behind-the-scenes details of how the theatre operates.
