Shanghai Gears Up for No-Smoking Law

An anti-smoking law is being introduced in Shanghai and will come into force on March 1st. Since last November, 11,213 venues put up 150,000 no-smoking signs, and a new campaign to install more anti-smoking signs will begin next month. The Shanghai Patriotic Health Campaign Commission will carry out regular checks on premises and ensure that the new law is enforced properly.
