Tickets to the 2010 Shanghai World Expo are now available through mobile phones thanks to a new intiative jointly launched by Shanghai Expo organizers and China Mobile on November 10th. The new service encrypts ticket information into SIM cards, thereby allowing customers to purchase tickets and gain entry into the Expo via their mobile phones. This is the first time such a service has been introduced in the history of expos. Tickets will be go on sale at the beginning of December.
