It will be more convenient to travel to Dongping National Forest Park on Chongming Island in Shanghai when the Yangtze River Tunnel Bridge opens to traffic at the end of October. The entrance fee of the park will increase from 40 RMB to 70 RMB. At the same time fees will be wavered for golf, Wildness Park and forest bubble. The fee of the small tour train will be reduced from 20 RMB to 10 RMB.
Dongping National Forest Park is located on the north central part of Chongming Island, China’s third largest island.
Getting there: take Shenchong special tourist bus line at 985 Gonghe Xinlu. The first bus leaves at 6:45am
