Shanghai Disney Resort is planning to launch a global recruitment initiative at the beginning of 2013, with the park’s staff expected to total over 10,000 people. Academic requirements set for the recruitment do not appear high – provided that employees match Disney's work ethic, even those with only a high school degree could potentially become senior managers. According to the plans, Shanghai Disney Resort will cover nearly 1,000 acres, and will include many restaurants, hotels and leisure areas. Shanghai Disney will have many activities taken from classic Disney stories and cartoons, as well as some activities specially catered toward Chinese tourists.
