It was recently announced that Sanya has now surpassed Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou to become the city with the most five-star hotels in China. Sanya currently offers more than 50 five-star hotels, with many of them located in Yalong Bay, such as the Marriott, Intercontinental and Hilton.
