A performance by the Salzburg Mozarteum Orchestra will take place at the Qintai Concert Hall in Wuhan on September 8. The group, known officially as the Mozarteum Orchester Salzburg, is an ensemble with over 160 years of history, first led by esteemed conductor Ivor Bolton. Notable collaborators with this 91-member orchestra include Giovanni Antonini, Robin Ticciati, Marc Minkwoski, Yannick Nézet-Séguin, and Mark Elder. The Orchestra is especially known for their renditions of Mozart, with their performances of Great Mass in C Minor at the Collegiate Church of St. Peter consistently drawing a packed house at the International Salzburg Music Festival every year.
