The Royal Scottish National Orchestra will perform at Guangzhou’s Xinghai Concert Hall on December 30. Founded in 1891, it is considered one of the top Symphony Orchestras in Europe, and, to commemorate its centennial, was giving the “Royal” title in 1991. The Orchestra often collaborates with Daniel Barenboim, Neeme Järvi, Lang Lang and other famous conductors and performers, and is best known for their performances of works by Shostakovich and Prokofiev.
