Dec 02, 2011 By eChinacities.com

In what should be a "passionate and seductive" performance, Roni Benise will be bringing his Spanish guitar musings to the Chongqing People's Hall on December 27th. Born in Nebraska, Benise has received much praise for his unique fusion of world music, including strong Latin American influences and African tribal drums. In 2006, Benise worked on "Nights of Fire!" with the Public Broadcasting Service (a TV channel in the US), for which he won an Emmy Award.
