The 2012 Xiamen International Marathon will be held on January 7th. The event is divided into male and female full marathon (42.195 km), half marathon (21.0975 km), 10 km and 5 km. Additionally, a "Cross-Straits City Invitational" marathon, a wheelchair half marathon and a 12 km inline skate race will also be held. To register online, please visit the official website of the Xiamen International Marathon at: www.xmim.org, or register on-site at the Xiamen Sports Center's gymnasium lobby (2 Tiyu Lu, Xiamen).

Age requirements:
To compete in the full marathon, you must have been born before January 7, 1992
To compete in the half marathon, you must have been born before January 7, 1994
To compete in the 10k marathon, you must have been born before January 7, 1997
To compete in the 5k marathon, you must have been born before January 7, 1999

Registration details:
Online and on-site registration are both open until December 17th. On-site registration times for individuals is Mon-Sun 14:30-17:30, and Sat-Sun 09:00-11:30. On-site registration times for groups is Mon-Fri 09:00-11:30.

Registration fees:
Registration is free for Chinese Athletic Association members. For Chinese participants (including Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan), registration is 50 RMB, for foreign participants, registration is 20 USD. Student/school registration is 20 RMB per person. Post-deadline registration (until December 28th) is double the original fee.
