Reason No. 847 Why You Should Never Mess with an Ayi

Reason No. 847 Why You Should Never Mess with an Ayi
Jan 13, 2015 By eChinacities.com

A bank teller who impatiently suggested that an ayi use an ATM instead of going to the counter to withdraw 500 RMB was taught a lesson by the middle aged lady in what could be described as a masterclass in passive-aggression.

When the lady, who was identified as Auntie Zhang went to the counter to take out some money the old fashioned way, the bank teller was uncooperative, making the outrageous suggestion that Auntie Zhang take it out from the ATM.

She didn't appreciate the sass and told the bank teller that she wanted to withdraw all the money in the account. As there was 200 million RMB in the account, the bank teller told her she couldn't without an appointment. Auntie Zhang then asked to take out the maximum for one time, which was 300 thousand, which she did.

The teller counted out 300,000 RMB in 100 RMB notes and handed it over to Auntie Zhang who took 500 RMB from the stack and then said: "Ok, can you deposit 299,500 RMB for me?"

Evil genius.

The-Final-Say

Whenever I come across such a bank teller, I will take out a 5 jiao coin and ask them to make change for it in single jiao. That is quite fun.

She shouldn't have done that... well she should have (for the revenge part)... but now her family is probably going to get investigated and thrown in a re-education camp for corruption. 200 million RMB? That seems legit.
