Real-name System for Purchasing Bullet Train Tickets Starts in Beijing

A real-name ticket sales system for bullet trains began operation at 15:00 on May 22nd in Beijing. Passengers, the Department of Railway warns, need to take valid ID cards or hard copies of ID cards to buy train tickets. According to the new policy, one passenger with one valid ID card can buy only one real-name ticket of the same train departing from the same station on the same day.
