Railway Travel From Shanghai to Beijing to be Shortened Drastically

In another three years, railway travel from Shanghai to Xi'an, Xiamen and Beijing will only need 4-5 hours tops. And train travel from Shanghai to Nanjing, Hefei, Hanzhou (major cities in the Yangtze River Delta) will be under two hours. In the next three years, Shanghai Railway Bureau is to complete a transit circle panning out from major cities in the Yangtze River Delta, initiating '1 hour travel', '2-3 hours travel', '4-5 hours travel' quick train rides to its surrounding regions.
