Golden Week 2014 is set to smash previous national holiday records in Guangzhou, with passenger flows predicted to exceed Spring Festival numbers.
Guangzhou rail is predicted to see a 10 percent rise in passenger flow, and could reach 10.6 million passengers, over a million a day. High speed and ordinary rail tickets from the city are in extremely short supply, but high speed rail tickets to return to Shenzhen and Guangzhou on October 6-7 are particularly scarce.
