Qinghai Lake started to freeze beginning with its east part on Dec.16 and froze up totally 28 days later. The date the lake completely froze over was three days earlier than the average of the past five years. The Frozen Qinghai Lake scenic spot will begin offering snow and skiing activities from the end of January onwards.
