Qingdao residents will start to use the Qin Dao Tong IC cards soon. All buses in the city will be installed with Qin Dao Tong IC card charging system by February and the cards will go on sale in March, which will put an end to the current bus cards. Fees of taxis, ferry boats, some auto repair companies, gas stations, some supermarkets and tourist spots will be paid by Qin Dao Tong.
