Starting from January 1st, 2011, the service hours for the public bicycle system will be extended in downtown Hangzhou. The details are:
Bicycle rental will start 30 minutes earlier in the morning and begin at 06:00. The bicycle return time will be extended from 20:30 to 21:30 nightly. It is also reported that five new 24-hour bicycle rental spot will be added in the Binjiang, Xiasha, Gongshu and Jianggan area. This will bring the total number of 24-hour public bicycle rental spots to 35 in Hangzhou.
According to statistics, at the end of 2010, Hangzhou has 2,411 public bicycle rental spots, 60,600 public bicycles in service.
