Prince William Coming to China Tomorrow

Everyone’s second favourite prince, William, is coming to the Middle Kingdom. The Duke of Cambridge will be arriving on Sunday March 1, following a four-day trip to Japan.

During his three-day tour, he will be taking a hutong tour and visiting the Forbidden City in Beijing, before flying off to Shanghai and then Xishuangbanna to visit an elephant sanctuary and village elders from a Dai minority community.

His wife, the Duchess of Cambridge, will be staying at home in Britain due to her pregnancy.

This is the first royal visit to mainland China for almost 30 years and William will have to tread carefully as diplomatic relations between the two countries are currently strained.

It can’t be worse than the last royal visit however; in 1986, his grandfather, Prince Phillip, caused an international kerfuffle when he told a group of British students: “If you stay here much longer, you’ll all be slitty eyed.”

Why come to China? After all, he is just another evil western influence that China hates. He should go to a more civilised country like Japan.
