Trams started their maiden journey at nine a.m. on January 1st in Qianmen and each day from 9am to 9pm, visitors can ride on them. The ticket for students with student cards, the elderly 65 and above with certification is RMB 10 one-way. Children shorter than 1.2 meters (must be accompanied by adults), retired cadres with proper ID, and the disabled with handicapped cards can take the trams for free.
