Dadonghai beach in Sanya might not ring any bells for the average person, but that’s because it is not your average holiday destination, well not in China anyway. Dadonghai beach has acted as a little China oasis for nude sunbathers for quite some time…until the morning of February 6 that is.
Sanya police, on orders from the local government, have begun enforcing the long standing law of public indecency. From now on any beach-goer found exposing themselves will be asked to cover up and failure to do could result in fines and/or detainment. Police will now be patrolling the area until the situation subsides.
The move is quite a blow for a spot that has seen tourists from China’s northern regions coming back year after year looking for a place to hang out.

question: Will the police take photo's BEFORE they arrest the nudists or after they are dressed??

This makes sense! We "must" protect all harmonious people from the "dangers" of consensual nudity. That way families will have more time to watch comically violent kung fu programs on CCTV.
