One of the most beloved flowers in China and East Asia, for centuries, plum blossoms have been frequently depicted in Chinese art and poetry both as a symbol of winter as well as a harbinger of spring. Wuxi’s Meiyuan (Garden of Plum Blossoms) has introduced another five species of plum blossoms from Japan, growing its collection to over 260 different species, the most in China.
