The 2012 Play Rock Music Festival (玩石音乐节) is set to take place at Sanguo (Three Kingdoms) Ruins Park in Hefei, June 29-July 1. The line-up features some of the biggest names from China’s rock alumni, including ‘Godfather of rock’ Cui Jian and Xie Tianxiao (XTX). But some of China’s newest talents – such as Soda Green, Perdel, Mc-Hotdog and more – will also make themselves heard.
Besides enjoying live music, festival-goers will also be greeted by 30 food and drink stalls selling a wide-selection of well known grub, including local Hefei delicacies. If that’s not enough, the Hefei Lobster Festival will take place within the festival grounds, which means lots of seafood, beer and live music – what more could you ask for?!
