Photography Exhibition by Candida Höfer on Show Until June 28

A solo exhibition of works by German artist Candida Höfer will be held at Inna Contemporary Art Space in Hangzhou from June 2 to 28. Candida Höfer is one of the most well-known German photographers and this is her first exhibition in Mainland China. She is famed for photographing rooms in public buildings devoid of humans, such as staircases, empty halls, reading rooms etc. Her works have been displayed and collected by some of the world’s biggest museums including the Louvre, National Library of France, New York Museum of Modern Art and San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Apart from depicting a selection of her classical work, this exhibition will also display a number her new works from the “Asian Motives” series.
