Photo of Air Hostesses Worshipping “On Time” Shrine Goes Viral
Jul 15, 2013 By eChinacities.com

Presumably a result of last week’s publication which named and shamed Beijing and Shanghai’s airports as the most delayed in the world, a picture depicting two air hostesses worshipping/praying to a shrine with the words “On Time (正点)” at the top has recently gone viral on Weibo.

The photo shows the two hostesses kneeling down and praying to the shrine, which is decorated with fruit and random airport food, in what is a wonderfully charming attempt to satirize China’s notoriously-delayed airlines.

It was found that the two air hostesses worked for Xiamen Airlines, who after being quizzed on rumors that the two women were sacked for their jibe, refused to comment.

Currently, heavy rain across the country is causing countless flight cancellations and delays, though that’s nothing new.
