Passengers Can Get to Hongqiao Airport via Metro in Shanghai

Starting from next Tuesday, passengers will be able to get to the new terminal (T2) of Hongqiao Airport via Metro Line 2 since the west extension of metro line 2 will start its trial operation on March 16. Current west-end terminal of Metro Line 2 is Songhong Lu but this will extend to Xujing Dong in Qingpu District by next Tuesday. The west extension line of Metro line 2 is 8.58 kilometers in total and has three stops: Hongqiao Terminal 2, Hongqiao Railway Station (not open temporarily) and Xujing Dong.
