5347 taxis in Xi’an have recently installed GPS and it is expected that all the 10,762 taxis in the city will be equipped with GPS before the 2011 International Horticultural Exposition which will be held in Xi’an from April 28th to October 22nd. Moreover, passengers will soon be able to order a taxi simply by calling 029 96716.
