Feb 08, 2010 By eChinacities.com

Parking fees in Beijing have always been maintained at a lowered standard compared with that in Shanghai and Guangzhou. From Apr.1 onwards, higher daytime parking fees will be charged in 13 major spots in the city, between 6 to 10 RMB/hr from 7:00 to 21:00.

The 13 spots include: Dongdan-Wangfujing, Qianmen, Zhongguancun West, Xidan, Chaoyangmen Wai, CBD, Jinrong Jie (Commercial Street), Chongwenmen Wai, Beijing Railway Station, Beijing West Railway Station, Dongzhimen, Yansha and Cuiwei. Residential areas within these spots will not be included in the new parking fee regulation.
