Following the first death from the A/H1N1 virus in Shenzhen, the Department of Health in Guangdong Province estimated that 15% to 20% of the population in Guangdong province, which is 18 million residents, will be infected by the virus during the pandemic's peak season. Five groups of people including pregnant women are at greater danger. However, virus mutation has not been found in China and most of the infected are cured. The government is assuring the public that there is absolutely no need to panic.
