Overseas Chinese Students Caught Cheating More Often in the US, UK
Feb 16, 2016 By eChinacities.com

In the past three years, nearly 50,000 university students have been caught cheating in the United Kingdom, according to The Guardian. The proportion of cheating students from non-EU regions is much higher than those from the EU. 75% of postgraduates found guilty of cheating at Queen Mary University of London were from abroad, with a third from China.

Academic dishonestly amongst overseas Chinese students has become a growing phenomenon in the United Kingdom and the United States. Whole Ren Education reported that in 2014, 8,000 Chinese students were expelled from U.S. universities for cheating, plagiarism, and other reasons. Many of the students were enrolled in Ivy League schools.

80% of Chinese students that are expelled from universities in the United States are kicked out for either academic dishonesty or poor academic performance.

I am not surprised. Many of my students try to cheat, but what I can't understand is if I practiced cheating as much as them, I would perfected it by now. They are terrible at cheating.
