Only 18 Countries Worldwide Offer Visas on Arrival to Chinese

According to data, there are currently only 17 countries in the world that offer visas on arrival to Chinese citizens holding a passport and flight ticket. Moreover, East Timor offers visas on arrival with a clause that Chinese citizens must also present a visa issuance permission slip from the embassy.

According to the Beijing Entry-Exit Frontier Inspection Station, “Although many people say that these 18 countries are dangerous, it’s actually very likely that following next year’s visa-free agreement with Thailand there will be more and more such visa-on-arrival countries in the future.”

At present, the following countries offer visas-on-arrival to Chinese citizens:

  1. Mauritius
  2. Chejudo, South Korea
  3. Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands
  4. Indonesia
  5. San Marino
  6. Seychelles
  7. Samoa
  8. Maldives
  9. Haiti
  10. Georgia
  11. Brunei
  12. Fiji
  13. Comoros
  14. Palau
  15. Bahrain
  16. Jordan
  17. Burma
  18. East Timor

Once again fact checking fails: there are 48 territories which issue visas to Chinese citizens on arrival. There are 17 territories which require **no visa** for Chinese citizens to be able to visit. This information is literally a Wikipedia search away. Come on.
