During the national day celebrations, Tianjin residents who visit the Botanical Gardens will be able to enjoy the sight of over 100 ice sculptures which have been designed and made by sculpting masters and which use up to almost 600 tons of ice. There will also be many attractions for kids, such as cartoon models, large ice slides and small a skating rink. All the sculptures will be finished by September 28 and open to the public during the National Day holiday. The temperature of the exhibition hall has to be controlled so that it is always -4℃ or less. Visitors who wear autumn clothing will find the temperatures difficult to adjust to. Therefore, the park will provide free cotton clothes and sweet ginger water to park visitors.
