On July 17th and 18th, at 19:00, the North Korean national theatre troupe will be performing their rendition of Chinese literary classic Dream of the Red Chamber at the Dalian Development Area Grand Theater. The cast is made up of 197 performers (one of the largest groups of foreign performers to ever visit China), and there will be live music accompaniment for the play. The play is reputed to have been personally updated by Kim Jong Il – his father wrote the original version – and is thus highly regarded in North Korea.

To better convenience those that wish to see the play, Dalian Yilong Performance Co. Ltd., organizer for the event, has arranged to have charted coach buses waiting at the Olympic Plaza Wal-Mart west entrance parking lot from 15:00-17:00 on July 17th and 18th to transport audiences directly to the venue.
