Ningbo enjoys a sub-tropical monsoon climate with four distinct seasons. Winters and summers tend to last the longest (four months on average) while spring and fall lasts around two months. The average temperature in Ningbo is 16.3℃. July tends to be the hottest month with temperatures capable of reaching 42℃. January is the coldest month, with temperature lows of -11℃ being quite common.
