On August 1, a new visa office opened in Songjiang district where foreigners can process their visas.
Foreign residents of Songjiang will no longer have to run to the Exit and Entry Bureau in Pudong every time they have visa issues. The center will offer a variety of services including visa extension, visa renewal and issuing residence permits. The normal processing time should be seven working days.
The office is open Monday- Saturday.
