A new Tourist Information & Service Centre opened at Shanghai Pudong International Airport in order to provide services and information to incoming visitors in Shanghai and to welcome the World Expo 2010. The new center set up two service spots with six tourism multimedia touch screen systems, two computers for tourist self-inquiry, and various kinds of tourist information brochures in six languages: Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, Italian and French. Tourists can take these information brochures for free, including various Shanghai tourist maps in different languages published by Shanghai Municipal Tourism Administration. By November 2009 Shanghai has set up 37 tourist information & service centres. More such centers will be built at Hongqiao Airport, Expo site, the Bund and other tourist areas in the run up to the 2010 Expo.
