Located 1500 meters north of the Bird’s Nest is the new Technology Exhibition Hall of China. Due to be opened in time for the peak tourist season around the National October holiday, it has a floor space of 102,800 square meters and cost just over RMB 1 billion to complete. The hall is due to be fitted with state of the art technology and will be displaying a vision on Chinese science and technology for the future. Watch this space in October!
