New Star Trek Film Coming to Chinese Theaters May 28

“Star Trek Into Darkness”, the second film in the recent big screen reboot of the classic sci-fi franchise, is set to boldly hit Chinese cinemas on May 28.

The film was directed by J.J. Abrams (who directed the previous Star Trek film in 2009), and features British actor Benedict Cumberbatch as the lead villain, who has been receiving rave reviews for his performance.

The film currently holds an 8.4 rating on IMDB, and a 74 out of 100 score on Metacritic.
