New Section on Guangzhou’s Subway Line 6 Opens End of Dec
Nov 22, 2013 By eChinacities.com

The new section of Guangzhou’s subway Line 6 will open at the end of December. Line 6 is now 24.5 km long, travels from Xunfenggang station (浔峰岗站) to Changban station (长湴站), and has 22 stations.

To travel between 0-4 km will cost you 2 RMB, between 4-12 km will cost you an extra 1 RMB for each 4 km, between 12-24 km, each 6 km will cost you another 1 RMB, and after 24 km each 8 km will be another 1 RMB. As the line is currently 24.5 km long we imagine you won’t be charged 1 RMB for those 500 meters.
