The Suzhou Government recently issued new regulations for the Suzhou metro lines. Passengers are now prohibited from carrying on certain items, including "dangerous materials", bicycles, balloons and pets. The regulation will take effect on September 1st. Also, according to the same report, Suzhou's first subway line will begin its trial operations in June 2012.
