The new Pan Pacific Hotel Suzhou located on Xin Shi Lu was officially opened to business earlier this month. Originally branded as the Sheraton Hotel & Towers, the 481-room hotel is to become another landmark for local tourism, featuring a view of traditional Suzhou gardens fused with modern comforts and luxury. The hotel is now equipped with an independent VIP clubhouse with 99 rooms, providing upgraded luxury experience and service including free breakfast and nightly drinks. Hong Kong-style restaurant Haitianlou and Italian Avanti Italian Kitchen have been opened and a banquet hall fitted with the latest audio-visual equipment is expected to be completed in March. The Pan Pacific Suzhou is the second hotel in China under the Pan Pacific Hotels Group; the Pan Pacific Xiamen opened last August.
