As of next Thursday (March 5th) will see an additional once weekly 320 capacity flight run by China Eastern Airlines from Xining to Xi'an. The return flight has been brought into relief stress on the Xining-Xi'an route which airlines say is getting too crowded.
Each Thursday will see the flight leave Xi'an at 15:50 and arrive Xining at 16:50, with the return one hour journey being made from 17:30 to 18:40.
Additional changes for Xining air passengers include fare reductions of up to 40% on flights to Beijing, Xi'an and Guangzhou. With flights to Shanghai with China Eastern receiving reductions of 30% and flights to Chengdu 20%.
