As of April 1st, taxis in Dalian will add a 1 RMB fuel surcharge to each trip. Taxi drivers are supposed to give passengers an extra receipt for the fuel surcharge at the same time they give you the fare receipt. If they do not give you this receipt, you can call the taxi hotline (Tel: 0411 8363 8119) to issue a complaint.
