"Super Heroes" (铁血英雄), a new amusenent park with an overtly military theme, will open in Beijing's Olympic Park July 7, and will run until September 3. "Super Heroes" park occupies 200,000 square metres and is comprised of a Military Pop Science District, Experience District, Challenge District, and Comprehensive Service District. Tourists can meet a communist party pilot in person and come face to face with the country's most powerful -20 stealth fighter. Other attractions include: Somali convoys, space exploration, divinity missile soldiers and Amazonian experience programmes.
Getting there: Take subway Line 8 to the Olympic Park Station, or take buses: yuntong 113, 983 zhi, 944, 944 zhi, 660, 753, 740, 656, 386 or 611 and get off at Beichenqiao Xi Station
