Apr 08, 2012 By eChinacities.com

The music festival that kick-starts all other music festivals in China, Midi, has quashed all rumours that it won't take place this year, officially announcing this year's festival dates and location. As in previous years, Midi will take place in Haidian Park, located in Beijing's western suburbs, from April 29th to May 1st. A full line-up has yet to be announced but so far Marky Ramone's Blitzkrieg and France's La Souris Déglinguée (LSD) are on the bill, as well as a handful of well-known Chinese bands, which includes Miserable Faith. Other announced details include this year's theme (PM2.5), the number of stages (four) and the ticket price (100 RMB/pre-sale one day pass; 120 RMB/ at door day pass; 160 RMB/2-day pass).
