Microsoft May Make Adjustments after Chinese Government Bans Windows 8
Jun 24, 2014 By eChinacities.com

The Chinese government’s ban on the use of Windows 8 on government PCs has gotten Microsoft in a panic as they consider making adjustments to Windows 9 as a result.

It has already been announced that Windows 9 will be released in three versions, a traditional SKU, a touch based SKU and the Enterprise Edition. The Enterprise Edition is the one that will be hit most drastically by the ban and there are rumors that the cloud-based integration within the operating system could be removed, along with the ability to completely disable the Modern UI 2.0 integration.
