Chinese metal band Twisted Machine are set to play a show at Lanzhou’s Tip Livehouse on March 30. Formed in Beijing in 1998, Twisted Machine have established themselves at the top of the metal roster in China. Their 2003 release “Return to the Underground” sold over 100,000 copies in half a year. They have played at countless festivals across the country, and are now considered one of China’s “classic rock” acts, alongside artists such as Cui Jian.
